Overseer Robert Ferrer is a respected pastor, visionary leader, author, and community builder with over 11 years of pastoral leadership and more than two decades in ministry. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Faith Temple Family Church in Middletown, NY, faithfully continuing the legacy of the late Bishop Samuel Simms.

He has been married for 27 years to his wife, Lady Sherell Ferrer, a singer, entrepreneur, women’s mentor, and co-author. Together, they are the proud parents of 10 children and grandparents to five. Their marriage and family life are a living testimony to their message of faith, love, and legacy.

Overseer Ferrer is the author of Faith in the Fire: A Father’s Fight for Strength, Balance, and Success, a powerful memoir that shares his personal journey of overcoming fatherlessness, navigating seasons of loss, and building a legacy rooted in faith, resilience, and leadership. Lady Sherell Ferrer is the co-author of Uncomfortable Conversations, a transformative book they wrote together that equips readers to engage in honest, grace-filled dialogue in relationships, church, and everyday life. Both works reflect their heart for empowering people to grow, heal, and live with purpose.

Overseer Ferrer is especially known for his strong leadership, family acumen, mentoring heart, and visionary ability. He is the founder of Robert Ferrer, LLC, where he launched The Family Mentorship Program, a Christ-centered initiative focused on empowering youth and families through spiritual and practical development. He also instituted and currently oversees a licensed child care service housed at the church’s facility, expanding the church’s outreach to meet real community needs. In addition, he serves as Program Coordinator for a New York State OMH-licensed residential program, where he leads staff and helps individuals transition into independent living with dignity and stability.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Liberty University and a Master’s in Christian Ministry and Pastoral Counseling. As a certified Christian counselor and life coach, he provides guidance in grief recovery, emotional wellness, stress management, and men’s development. While his ministry includes expository, life-giving preaching and teaching, Overseer Ferrer is most recognized for his leadership excellence, mentorship capacity, and visionary initiatives that serve both church and community.
